Online Gaming and Internet Access at T-Mobile® HotSpots Now Available to PSP® Owners as Part of Latest PSP® System Firmware Update
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) today announced a new firmware upgrade for the PSP®(PlayStation®Portable) system, version 3.30, enabling PSP users to play compatible games online, surf the Web, and download podcasts at more than 7,000 T-Mobile® HotSpot locations, including select Starbucks coffee shops, Borders bookstores, Hyatt Hotels, and more than 70 major airports across the United States.
This limited time promotional offer includes six months of Wi-Fi network access to T-Mobile HotSpot starting at the initial log-in on the T-Mobile HotSpot network for PSP owners who have downloaded the firmware update. Once the six-month period is complete, T-Mobile will offer PSP owners an option to purchase a subscription at a special rate. Details of the post offer will be available directly from T-Mobile. PSP owners must log-in to the T-Mobile HotSpot Network by March 28, 2008, to access the six-month promotional period.

Midway announces Hot Brain for PSP |

At the 2007 Midway Gamers' Day, the publisher has announced Hot Brain, a new puzzle game for the PSP and Touchmaster for the DS. Hot Brain will feature the voice of Fred Willard (Best in Show, Anchorman), and brings brain-training challenges to the PSP. Players will try and achieve red-hot status with hundreds of timed challenges in five challenging categories, including logic, memory, math, language and concentration.

Kuju Brighton have announced that Crush, a new inventive game, is undergoing development for the Playstation Portable, signed with Sega Europe Ltd.

Sources close to Sony said the company will enter the increasingly crowded digital movie download market, competing with companies such as Apple Computer and Microsoft. And as with service, Sony’s offering will be made available for a video game console, in this case the Playstation 3.

Various German automakers have been promising to bring an exotic, high-powered mid-engined sports car to America ever since Mercedes showed the C111 Wankel-powered road burner in 1970. The closest they ever came was the recent $450,000 Porsche Carrera GT. Now Audi has shown a new middle-motored exotic that will come to market for less than a fourth of the Porsche’s price. Final Fantasy: Tactics being developed for PSP |

Square Enix is currently developing Final Fantasy Tactics series for the Sony PSP and GBA.
It was first revealed that Final Fantasy Tactics will be heading to the PSP in a Japanese Magazine known as Shonen Jump. Other games confirmed are Shisi Sensou for the PSP and Tactics A2 Fuuketsu no Guurimore for the Nintendo GBA and Nintendo DS.
The PSP game will be based on the Playstation’s original plot although it will have more advanced features, new jobs and movies. Stay with us and we’ll bring you more news as it emerges.

Oxygen Games, developer of the upcoming World Chanpionship Poker 2 has announced that the game is to be released on the PSP on 23rd February 2007 in Europe. The game is already out in the US, and has recieved alot of praise and good reviews from the press.
With a skill-based system of game play, career mode and multi-player options combined with apparently the most advanced AI in any poker title to-date, World Championship Poker 2 will fast become an essential purchase in the UK and mainland Europe for any aspiring poker shark.
