Kuju Brighton have announced that Crush, a new inventive game, is undergoing development for the Playstation Portable, signed with Sega Europe Ltd.

The game is set to be released sometime this year. Crush is a new and exciting game which challenges how players approach games with an intriguing new style of thought provoking gameplay.

Ed Daly, the Head of Kuju Brighton Studio has said:

"The studio's strategy is to develop games that appeal to new audiences. We believe that Crush will appeal to PSP owners who prefer a real and cerebral challenge to mindless action. This game comes from a core idea we have had for a while and we are delighted to be making it a reality with SEGA."

Unique to its genre, Crush flips traditional gameplay on its head and creates a valuable new gaming experience that is wholly suited to the PSP. Set within a complex, hypnotic 3D world, players can Crush it to form simple 2D platforms, unlock secrets and then back again, to solve otherwise impossible challenges.

Crush tells the story of a man with a lifetime of unresolved issues and bottled up emotions who has become a nervous wreck, unable to sleep at night, and yet too tired to turn his life around. Desperate for a cure, he turns to hypnosis and it’s during this state that he is given one last chance to sort through the wreckage of his past, before he loses the last thing he has – his sanity.

Crush will be released sometime in 2007.
